We are pleased to share that library GCWUF has completed its automation project. Now the library is able to provide its automated services through KOHA library management software. Library at GCWUF is distinctive in being the 1st automated library with KOHA in Faisalabad among all other Govt Universities. Librarian, Ms. Misbah Bashir cheerfully informed the guests of inaugural ceremony of automation held on 14 October, 2021 in the main library of GC Women University Faisalabad. Worthy Vice Chancellor GC Women University Faisalabad Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq graced the ceremony as Chief Guest. Registrar GCWUF, Director Academics, Treasurer GCWUF, Director IT Services, Patron in Chief LLA Faisalabad, and librarians of various universities and colleges of the city and members of library committee were present. Ms. Misbah Bashir informed the audience about automation of serial management, reference, and cataloging, Check In/ Check Out library materials with barcode system. She expressed pleasure on upgradation of the library at GCWUF as per requirements of emerging trends in the field of technology.
