Government College Women University Faisalabad has successfully conducted its first ever Phd defense today, dated February 26,2021. Ms. Saeeda Bano defended her dissertation entitled “دراسة تحليليةلاسماء سور القرأن الكريم فى ضوء التفاسير العربية فى شبه القارة الهندية” supervised by Dr. Imrana Shahzadi. External members for this public defense were Professor Dr. Abul al Wafa from University of the Punjab, and Professor Dr. Raheela Qureshi from Islamia University Bahawalpur. This moment of pride for the university was attended by the Worthy Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Robina Farooq, Registrar Mrs. Rahat Afza, Controller Examination Mrs. Rizwana Tanveer, Director QEC Dr. Shahla Qasim, Coordinator Faculty of Humanities and Languages Mrs. Rakhshanda Shehnaz, Members of the Supervisory Committee, Prof. Dr. Tahira Iqbal and Dr. Tallat Safdar, all chairpersons of various departments, faculty members and students of Arabic Department.
