Health and Physical Department Government College Women University conducted various interdepartmental sports competitions. The chief guest of the Athletics Events was Miss Sajida Latif, District Sports Officer Faisalabad. In athletics events JAVELIN THROW, DISCUSS THROW, SHOT PUT, 100 meters race, 200 meters race, 400 meters race competitions were held. On this occasion, the chief guest Miss Sajida Latif stressed that sports play major part in improving our physical and mental fitness. It helps in developing self confidence ,team spirit, and also enhances performance. In JAVELIN THROW competition, a student of Health and Physical Education Department Humaira stood 1st, Aqsa 2nd and a student of Education Department Azra secured 3rd position. In DISCUS THROW competition Health and Physical Education Department student Sehrish got 1st, Humaira 2nd, and Intermediate Section Student Nesha Amin secured 3rd position. In Shot Put competition Health and Physical Education Department students Sehrish stood 1st, Humaira 2nd, Aqsa 2nd, and Islamic studies student Mehnaz secured 3rd position. In 100meters race Muqadas Aslam stood 1st, Sehrish 2nd and Mehnaz secured 3rd position. In 200meters race Muqadas Aslam 1st, Azra 2nd, Mehnaz and Alia jointly secured 3rd position. In 400meters race Sehrish 1st, Beenish 2nd, Pakiza and Faiza jointly secured 3rd position.
